It has been a week since Tails was transfigured into a baby. Vanilla and Cream are still taking care of him. It's morning and Tails is sitting in a highchair eating breakfast. In this case, a bottle of milk.
"I wish I could eat solid food." Tails thought. "I'm getting a little tired of baby food and milk." When he finished, Vanilla picked him up and burped him. "What are doing today?" Asked Cream. "I thought we'd go for a walk in the park today." Said Vanilla.
Later, she strapped Tails into a stroller and pushed him. Tails sat back in the stroller and enjoyed the pleasant weather. The sun was warm, the flowers were blooming. Vanilla pushed Tails towards the park, Cream beside her.
When they got to the park, Vanilla put Tails in a baby swing while Cream went to the slide. Vanilla gently pushed Tails back and forth while he giggled. "I forgot how much fun this is." Tails thought as he swung in the air.
"Mommy! Watch this!" Said Cream. Vanilla looked over and saw Cream running up the slide. "Cream! Don't do that!" She said. But she accidently pushed Tails too hard. He flew out of the swing seat and through the air. Vanilla gasped, but Tails was enjoying it.
He squealed with joy as he soared, even doing a flip. He landed with a POOF on his rear in the sandbox. Vanilla ran over and picked him up. "I'm so sorry Tails!" She said. "What? That was fun!" Tails thought.
She patted his back and put him back in the stroller. "Cream, we're going!" She called. Cream came over and they continued their walk. Tails closed his eyes and enjoyed the ride. The squeaking of the stroller wheels, the sun against his fur.
"I never really took the time to appreciate things like this." He thought. "Maybe being a baby isn't so bad. Now I have time to just enjoy the little things."
He closed his eyes and napped for the rest of their walk. When he woke up he was laying on a blanket on the floor of the living room. He crawled into the kitchen where Vanilla was making dinner. He pulled on her dress to get her attention. She picked him up and held him. "Did you sleep good?" She asked. "Like a baby." Thought Tails. (rim shot)
She sat Tails in his highchair and gave him a bowl of mashed peas. "I can't wait until this teething phase is over." He thought. "Then I can eat good stuff again."
Later that night, Vanilla gave Tails a bath. She scrubbed his head, giving him a bubble Mohawk. She laughed at that. Tails picked up some bubbles and put them on his face, giving him a beard.
She washed him and took him out of the tub. She wrapped a towel around him and dried him. When she was done his fur was all fluffy and he looked like a orange fuzz ball.
She finished drying him and laid him in his crib. She kissed him goodnight and gave him his teddy. Tails lay there in thought. "Not that I'm complaining, but this better wear off soon. Or else I might get too used to this." He closed his eyes and relaxed. But what he didn't notice, was the his body was growing, slowly at first, but it started to appear that he was now four years old instead of two.
Anyway, grammar fanatic me aside, awesome story! It's really funny and cute!
